brekky burger
Serves 2


  • 1 ½ Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Alt Meat Co. Alternative Burger patties
  • 2 English muffins
  • Alt Dairy Co. Cheddar Non-Dairy Cheese
  • ½ avocado
  • ½ medium tomato, sliced
  • 2 eggs – fried soft
  • Handful arugula
  • Hollandaise sauce, to serve


  1. Preheat fry pan or BBQ plate to medium heat. Add 1 Tbsp of olive oil.
  2. Cook burgers for 3-5 minutes on each side, until crust is golden brown. Take care not to overcook the burgers to preserve juiciness. Remove from heat.
  3. Add ½ tbsp of olive oil to a pan. Crack the egg in the pan once the oil is hot and cook for a couple minutes – do not flip the egg.
  4. Slice each English muffin in half horizontally and toast each side.
  5. Assemble the burger with all ingredients, season and serve immediately.
