For a more tender, saucier product, add one tablespoon of vegetable oil and ½ cup of water OR ½ a cup of your favourite vegetable stock. Stir fry in a pan until the sauce reduces down and thickens and the product is well coated and heated through.
Our pork-free shreds are the quickest to cook, so don’t leave them on the heat too long - cook them on medium heat for four minutes tops! If you're cooking without a sauce, add a tablespoon of cooking oil and half a cup of water while cooking to ensure that the meat is kept tender.
Great in stir-fry and curry dishes, and also perfect for Southern American BBQ foods such as sliders, sandwiches and loaded fries.
